Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) is a biostimulator, not a filler. Instead of placing gel that fills space, it triggers your skin to produce its own collagen over a series of treatments. The result builds gradually over 3–6 months and lasts up to 25 months.

- Sculptra Aesthetic
Sculptra is poly-L-lactic acid microparticles in solution. Once injected, the particles trigger fibroblasts to lay down new collagen. The product itself dissolves; the collagen remains. Most patients need 2–4 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart.
Dr. Marchetti is one of a small number of Florida physicians certified to teach Sculptra technique. The reconstitution and dilution protocol is non-trivial — under-diluted product can produce nodules, which is why we mix in advance and inject only after a 24-hour hydration period.

Consultation
Photograph and assess collagen-quality areas. Sculptra is right for diffuse loss; targeted volume is better with HA.

Treatment
60 minutes per session. Cannula technique across multiple zones. Patients are asked to massage 5x5x5 (5 minutes, 5 times per day, 5 days).

Recovery
Mild swelling 24 hours. Massage protocol is non-negotiable for the first week.

Results
Gradual build over 3–6 months. Most patients need 2–4 sessions. Final lasts up to 25 months.
