Established 2018 · Brickell, Miami
A clinic built around restraint.
Lumère was founded on a specific premise: that aesthetic medicine done well is invisible. A physician sets the standards. Master-trained injectors deliver the work. The patient leaves looking like themselves on their best day — not like a different person.
The story
How Lumère started.
Dr. Elena Marchetti opened Lumère in 2018 after fifteen years working between New York and Milan, where she split her time between hospital dermatology and one of Europe's most respected aesthetic practices. Miami had no shortage of medical spas; it had relatively few physician-led ones, and very few that prioritized restraint as a clinical principle.
The first six months were quiet by design. Dr. Marchetti hired one nurse practitioner — Sasha Kim, who came from the same Manhattan practice — and the two of them did every single appointment for the first year. The work, the hand-off between consultations, the way the clinic felt: all of it was set then, and most of it has not changed since.
Today the team is five providers and a 4,000 square foot space on Brickell Avenue. We have 2,000+ Google reviews and an average that has not dropped below 4.9. We are sometimes asked when we will expand. The honest answer is: we will expand when we can recruit and retain providers who share the standard, and not before.
How we work
Five principles.
- 01
Physician oversight, master delivery
An MD writes the protocols and treats the most complex cases. Master-trained NPs and RNs deliver the bulk of the work. Both are necessary; either alone is not enough.
- 02
Transparent pricing
Per unit, per syringe, per session — published. No call-for-pricing. No surprise add-ons during the appointment. Membership saves money for patients who use the practice regularly.
- 03
Restraint over volume
Most patients leave with less product than they expected. The result that ages best is the one that respected the underlying anatomy.
- 04
Saying no
We turn down patients who aren't candidates for what they're asking. We will lose business that day to keep a relationship over a decade.
- 05
Patient privacy
Web forms do not collect medical history. PHI flows only through HIPAA-compliant systems with executed BAAs. The privacy policy says exactly what we do with information.
- 06
Continuing education
Every provider attends at least two industry conferences a year and runs internal case reviews monthly. The standard is the floor, not the ceiling.
