Botox is a purified form of botulinum toxin type A — the same molecule used worldwide for over thirty years to soften the lines created by repeated facial expression. Done well, it's the most-requested injectable in our practice for one reason: it works, predictably, when the dose and pattern are right for the face it's being put in.
We don't sell Botox by the area — we sell it by the unit, because that's how the medication actually behaves. Most consultations end with a custom map of where we'd inject and how many units, before any needle comes out.

Botox temporarily relaxes specific muscles by blocking the nerve signal that tells them to contract. The skin above those muscles smooths because it's no longer being repeatedly creased. Different muscles need different doses; the forehead frontalis is highly variable, the glabella is forgiving, the crow's-feet orbicularis is delicate.
We typically treat the upper third of the face: forehead, glabella (the 11s), and crow's feet. We also offer technique-specific treatments — the lip flip, masseter slimming, brow lift, neck bands — which require additional anatomical care.
What to expect

Consultation
We map the muscles in motion, photograph at rest and in expression, and design a dose plan. You see the plan before we proceed.

Treatment
Roughly 15 minutes. Topical numbing optional. You'll feel small pinches; we use 32-gauge needles and ice between injections.

Recovery
No downtime. Avoid lying flat, intense exercise, and rubbing the area for four hours. Mild pinpoint redness fades within an hour.

Results
First softening at day 3–4, full result at day 10–14. We schedule a free touch-up window between days 14 and 21.
Who's a candidate
Botox is right for you if:
- Adults bothered by lines that appear with expression
- Patients beginning a preventative program (typically 28+)
- Those who want a softer brow lift without surgery
- Patients with TMJ tension who want jawline slimming
Not for you if
We'll turn you down if:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding patients
- Those with neuromuscular conditions (myasthenia gravis, ALS)
- Anyone with active skin infection at the planned injection sites
- Patients seeking permanent change — Botox is reversible by design
