CoolSculpting Elite uses controlled cooling (cryolipolysis) to permanently kill fat cells in treated areas. It's FDA-cleared in nine areas: submentum, submandibular, abdomen, flanks, bra fat, back, banana roll, inner thigh, and outer thigh.
It is a finishing tool, not a weight-loss tool. Patients within 20 pounds of goal weight see the cleanest results. We will tell you up front if you're not a candidate.

Cryolipolysis exposes fat cells to controlled cold (about -10°C) for 35–60 minutes per applicator. Fat cells are more cold-sensitive than overlying skin; they crystallize and die over the following weeks. The body clears the dead cells through normal lymphatic processes over 8–12 weeks.
Most patients need two sessions per area for full result. We treat in 'cycles' — one applicator placement is one cycle. The Elite system uses paired applicators (two sides simultaneously) for symmetric work.

Consultation
Pinch and assess each area. We map applicator positions and predict outcome conservatively.

Treatment
35–60 minutes per applicator. First 5 minutes uncomfortable as the area numbs; remainder painless. You can read or work.

Recovery
Bruising and numbness for 1–2 weeks. Some patients have late-onset soreness for 5–10 days.

Results
Visible reduction at 4–8 weeks, full result at 12 weeks. Most patients repeat each area once for full effect.
