- Lumère in-house PRF protocol
We use the SkinPen Precision device — the only FDA-cleared microneedling system — at depths from 0.5 to 2.5mm depending on indication. PRF is drawn from a small blood sample at the start of the appointment, spun in a centrifuge, and applied to the skin during and after needling.
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a step beyond PRP — the fibrin matrix sustains growth factor release for days rather than hours. Our published research with the device manufacturer is co-authored by Amelia Chen.

Consultation
Skin assessment, photography, depth-and-protocol plan. Series of 3 typical.

Treatment
Blood draw → 30-minute numbing → 30-minute treatment with PRF infusion → 10-minute mask.

Recovery
1–3 days of pinkness, like a sunburn. Mineral SPF only for 72 hours. No retinol/exfoliants for 5 days.

Results
Surface glow within a week. Collagen build over 6–12 weeks. Repeat at week 6.
